In the lively Ropewalks district of Liverpool City Centre and just around the corner from Concert Square (the hub of Liverpool's nightlife), The Spectrum Building is modern and vibrant, and the perfect place to be basedfor a weekend! We have a number of apartments available, each one contains two double bedrooms, and some have the facility of a sofa-bed to accommodate extra people!All of the apartments are fully-furnished and decorated to have that home-from-home feel about them that everyone wants when they are travelling.Each of the apartments has an open plan living and kitchen area where you can cook, eat, and relax on the sofa in front of the television. Thebathroom comes with towels and complementary toiletries.The Ropewalks district of town is characterized by a concentration of 19th Century warehouses, and a network of uniquely straight and narrow streets whose design date back to the days when Liverpool was a major industrial port! Today, it's acknowledged as the business centre for media, design and communication industries.If you're looking for cafes, restaurants, bars and clubs then you're in the right place; you can find quite an eclectic mix after just a very shortwalk! Or if it's a shopping trip you're hoping for then you'll find the world-famous Liverpool ONE starts just at the bottom of Duke Street, along with all the boutiques and high-street stores that have been based in Liverpool for years and years!If you're looking for good self-catered accommodation then look no further... BASE Serviced Apartments is the real alternative to hotel living!Please note that all guests must be over the age of 25 in order to make a reservation. With regret, we do not accept stag or hen parties, as the apartments are located in a residential block. Check-in time is between 2 PM and 10 PM at our office, apart from Sundays, when the office closes at 6 PM. Alternative arrangement can be made for all check-ins after this time, but they will incur a fee of £20. Our office is situated in Hudson Gardens, and all keys must be collected from here, and returned here upon check out. Secure underground parking can be provided at an additional cost of £15 per night(first come first serve basis).

Please be advised that you will need to come in to our office in order to check in and collect the keys for your apartment:2 Hudson Gardens136 Duke StreetLiverpoolL1 5BBFrom the M53 continue through the Kingsway Tunnel. Exit onto Scotland Road (follow signs for city centre). Take a left at the first set of traffic lights onto Leeds Street. Continue along Leeds Street until it meets The Dock Road. Continue along The Dock Road, passing The Liver Building and The Albert Dock on your right. Continue on The Dock Road until it bears left and becomes Parliament Street. Continue uphill on Parliament Street, then take a left at the traffic lights onto Great George Street. Continue on Great George Street until you pass Chinatown, then take a left at the traffic lights onto Duke Street. Take the first left onto Cornwallis Street. The office is situated on Cornwallis Street; it is the first block on the right and is sign-posted BASE.From the M62 follow signs for the City Centre (the junction is quite complicated, so watch the signs carefully). You will end up on Edge Lane. Continue along Edge Lane following signs for the City Centre. At the end of Edge Lane continue to follow signs for the City Centre and you will pass the back of the Royal Liverpool University Hospital on your right, and the University of Liverpool on your left. Continue downhill, through several sets of traffic lights, until you can no longer go straight-ahead; at this point take a left turn onto Lime Street. You will pass the Empire Theatre on your left and St George's Hall on your right. Bear right at the traffic lights, past Lime Street Station, onto Renshaw Street. Continue along Renshaw Street until you see an old bombed-out church (St Luke's), then bear right at the traffic lights onto Berry Street. At the next cross-roads, take a right turn at the traffic lights downhill onto Duke Street. Take the first left onto Cornwallis Street. The office is situated on Cornwallis Street; it is the first block on the right and is sign-posted BASE.If you are entering Duke Street from the Dock RoadPolice Headquarters entrance, you will need to drive uphill until you see the restaurants Mayur, Il Forno, Sapporo and Savina on your right. Cornwallis Street is the right-turn directly after these restaurants.
